Intro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Un \u00e9l\u00e9ment qui intervient maintenant dans mon appr\u00e9ciation d’un jeu, c’est \u00e0 quel point il est accessible et \u00e0 quel public je pourrais le conseiller ( D\u00e9formation personnelle, disons).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il y a des jeux que j’adore que je n’arrive pas \u00e0 vendre. D’autres que je n’appr\u00e9cie pas plus que \u00e7a qui eux se vendent comme des petits pains d\u00e8s que je les cite dans mes conseils aux clients du magasin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prey Another Day fait partie de ces rares jeux que j’ai ador\u00e9s personnellement mais qui ne se limitent \u00e0 aucun public. Ce jeu-ci, je peux le conseiller \u00e0 n\u2019importe quelle famille ou n’importe quel groupe d’amis. Il convient toujours, peu importe la demande, les contraintes ( Parfois plus loufoques les unes que les autres : un jeu avec des licornes qui se joue de 1 \u00e0 8 et qui peut \u00eatre facilement adaptable en jeu \u00e0 boire ?!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les r\u00e8gles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Prey Another Day se joue de 2 \u00e0 5 ( A 2 je n’y vois que peu d’int\u00e9r\u00eat m\u00eame si, puisque j’adore Love Letter \u00e0 2, je reste pr\u00eat \u00e0 voir).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c7a se joue \u00e0 partir de 8 ans pour des parties d’une dizaine de minutes, m\u00eame si l’on se surprendra \u00e0 en faire trois ou quatre, il faut l’avouer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le concept est archi simple : chaque joueur a les 5 m\u00eames cartes en main num\u00e9rot\u00e9es de 1 \u00e0 5 : l’Ours, le Loup, le Lynx, le Hibou et la Souris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au d\u00e9but d’un tour, chaque joueur choisit secr\u00e8tement un animal qu’il pose face cach\u00e9e devant lui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A la mani\u00e8re d’un Loup Garou, l’on va appeler chaque animal l’un apr\u00e8s l’autre. Lorsqu’un animal est appel\u00e9, le(les) joueur(s) r\u00e9v\u00e8lent leurs cartes. S’ils sont plusieurs \u00e0 avoir jou\u00e9 le m\u00eame personnage, tant mieux : ils survivent et sont automatiquement qualifi\u00e9s pour le tour suivant. Si jamais un animal se r\u00e9veille seul, il peut chasser. Le joueur d\u00e9cide donc quel animal, parmi les suivants dans la liste, il d\u00e9cide de tuer. Celui-ci ne sera pas appel\u00e9 ce tour-ci et le(les) joueur(s) qui l’auraient s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 au d\u00e9but sont alors \u00e9limin\u00e9s pour les prochains tours de la manche.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une manche prend fin apr\u00e8s au maximum 3 tours de jeu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La chasse<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

2 sc\u00e9narios possibles :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-soit, \u00e0 la fin il n’en restera qu’un (ah!) : alors le joueur encore en lice gagne un jeton champignon : bravo !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-soit, plusieurs joueurs sont encore en vie : alors tout le monde gagne un jeton champignon mais celui avec la plus grande somme de valeurs des 3 cartes jou\u00e9es dans la manche en obtient un suppl\u00e9mentaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Et c’est ce petit point de r\u00e8gles qui fait tout le sel de Prey Another Day… En effet, on sera tent\u00e9 de jouer nos cartes avec les valeurs les plus hautes mais attention, ce sont les animaux qui ont le plus de chance d’\u00eatre mang\u00e9s !!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mon verdict<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Je dois avouer qu’en d\u00e9couvrant Prey Another Day en soir\u00e9e de presentation, l’id\u00e9e m’avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 conquis : un petit jeu fourbe qui tient en seulement 20 cartes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prey Another Day est \u00e0 mi-chemin entre la partie devinette et bataille de valeurs de Love Letter et la partie r\u00f4les cach\u00e9s et l’ordre de tour de la premi\u00e8re phase de jeu de Citadelles. Il est parmi ces jeux que je conseille presque \u00e0 chaque fois et que je suis content de trimballer partout en sac \u00e0 dos (Sans sa bo\u00eete malheureusement beaucoup trop imposante mais bon c’est la loi des jeux qui souhaitent toucher un large public… Idem pour les illustrations de la version allemande remplac\u00e9es par quelque chose de mignon mais plus fade ici).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Je le conseille \u00e0 tous et il fera probablement partie de mon top des jeux d\u00e9couverts en 2024 (La liste d\u00e9passe d\u00e9j\u00e0 les 70 jeux, waw!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
