Potomac est un jeu pour enfants coop\u00e9ratif du Bruxellois Geoffroy Simon qui vient de sortir chez Djeco. J’ai eu l’occasion de tester le jeu et d’\u00e9changer avec lui lors du festival Lolipop de Chimay (o\u00f9 il faut signaler que le jeu a termin\u00e9 meilleure vente dans la cat\u00e9gorie jeux enfants et 4 \u00e8me meilleure vente toute cat\u00e9gorie confondue).<\/p>\n

Les petits animaux souhaitent rejoindre la for\u00eat de l’autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 du Potomac. Pour cela ils doivent franchir la rivi\u00e8re, puis traverser la clairi\u00e8re !<\/i><\/p>\n

But du jeu<\/u> :<\/b> aider les 6 animaux \u00e0 atteindre la for\u00eat sans qu’aucun d’eux ne se fasse emporter dans la cascade ou attraper par le loup.<\/p>\n

Mat\u00e9riel<\/u> :<\/b> 1 plateau, 2 radeaux, 4 cartes d\u00e9fense, 6 pions animaux, 1 pion loup, 1 d\u00e9.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9roulement<\/u> :<\/b>
\nLe plus jeune joueur commence puis chacun \u00e0 son tour dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.
\nComme le jeu est coop\u00e9ratif, les joueurs peuvent jouer n’importe quel pion animal du plateau. Les d\u00e9cisions peuvent \u00eatre discut\u00e9es entre les joueurs mais c’est le joueur actif qui a le dernier mot.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

Les animaux doivent traverser la rivi\u00e8re en empruntant un radeau, puis la clairi\u00e8re pour finir dans la for\u00eat.
\nLe joueur actif lance le d\u00e9 :
\n# Face blanche<\/u> : il d\u00e9place un animal d’une case orthogonalement.
\n# Face eau (bleu)<\/u> : il d\u00e9place d’une case vers la droite un des deux radeaux, les animaux pr\u00e9sents sur le radeau avance avec celui-ci. Au d\u00e9but un seul radeau est pr\u00e9sent sur la premi\u00e8re case de la rivi\u00e8re, le second peut-\u00eatre ajout\u00e9 d\u00e8s que cette m\u00eame premi\u00e8re case est libre. Si le mouvement d’un bateau ne peut avoir lieu en raison de la pr\u00e9sence de l’autre bateau sur la case suivante, celui-ci ne peut-\u00eatre d\u00e9plac\u00e9 et c’est le plus avanc\u00e9 des bateaux qui progresse d’une case. Si un bateau sort du plateau, il est perdu jusque la fin de la partie.
\n# Face fleur rouge<\/u> : il d\u00e9place le loup d’une case vers les fleurs rouges de la clairi\u00e8re (vers la gauche). Si le loup est d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur la case la plus \u00e0 gauche, il recule d’une case.
\n# Face fleur jaune<\/u> : il d\u00e9place le loup d’une case vers les fleurs jaunes de la clairi\u00e8re (vers la droite). Si le loup est d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur la case la plus \u00e0 droite, il recule d’une case.<\/p>\n

Les animaux peuvent \u00eatre maximum 2 sur la m\u00eame case et ne peuvent plus \u00eatre d\u00e9plac\u00e9s une fois qu’ils sont dans la for\u00eat.
\nSi le loup arrive sur une case o\u00f9 se trouve un animal, il attrape celui-ci.<\/p>\n

Une fois que le joueur a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 l’action du d\u00e9, on passe au joueur suivant.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

Les cartes d\u00e9fense<\/u> :
\nIl en existe 4, elles sont situ\u00e9es sur les case for\u00eat. D\u00e8s qu’un animal arrive sur une case o\u00f9 se situe un bonus, les joueurs r\u00e9cup\u00e8rent la carte d\u00e9fense. Celle-ci peut \u00eatre jou\u00e9e par n’importe quel joueur \u00e0 n’importe quel moment de la partie \u00e0 raison d’une seule par tour de jeu.<\/p>\n

2 diff\u00e9rents types :
\n# Stop au loup : lorsqu’elle est jou\u00e9e, le loup ne bouge pas m\u00eame si le d\u00e9 dit le contraire.
\n# Saut : lorsqu’elle est jou\u00e9e, un animal peut sauter au-dessus du loup. Soit horizontalement si le loup arrive sur la case d’un animal, celui-ci saute au-dessus et prend la place initiale du loup. Soit verticalement, au d\u00e9part du bateau pour acc\u00e9der directement \u00e0 la for\u00eat si le loup est entre les deux.<\/p>\n

Fin du jeu<\/u> :<\/b>
\nD\u00e8s que les 6 animaux ont atteint la for\u00eat, ils sont sains et saufs, tous les joueurs remportent la partie.
\nPar contre, si pendant la partie, un des animaux se fait attraper par le loup ou tombe avec un bateau dans la cascade, la partie est perdue. De m\u00eame si les 2 bateaux sont tomb\u00e9s de la cascade et que certains animaux n’ont pas encore travers\u00e9 la rivi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Pour une partie plus facile, on peut jouer avec 5 animaux plut\u00f4t que 6.<\/p>\n

Avis<\/u> :<\/b>
\nUn bon jeu pour enfant avec une m\u00e9canique simple mais efficace.
\nLes r\u00e8gles sont faciles \u00e0 expliquer et le jeu est \u00e9galement facile \u00e0 prendre en main. Les illustrations sont mignonnes et l’iconographie est claire. Le tout pour une dur\u00e9e de 15 minutes.
\nLe plus compliqu\u00e9 est de faire traverser un animal jusqu’\u00e0 la for\u00eat pour obtenir le premier bonus, ensuite le jeu s’ouvre mais il faut \u00eatre attentif \u00e0 ne surtout pas perdre de bateau avec un animal dessus (ou se faire croquer par le loup).
\nIl finira dans la h\u00f4te de Saint-Nicolas ou du P\u00e8re No\u00ebl, les petits bouts \u00e0 la maison vont adorer.<\/p>\n

Attention, dans la r\u00e8gle de base de la bo\u00eete, le second bateau n’est mis en jeu que lorsque le premier sera tomb\u00e9 dans la cascade. Cette r\u00e8gle a \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9e dans le second tirage, et je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re cette seconde formule.<\/p>\n
